PLACES TO VISIT IN GOA:

Se Cathedral: This church is known to be one of the largest Asian churches. One of the major Old Goa tourist places, this cathedral is established facing the Basilica of Bom Jesus. It has even been recorded as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and that too for all the right reasons. It is dedicated to the Catherine of Alexandria. Among the highlights of this 250-feet-high church is its tower bell, which is known as the Golden Bell.

Sri Mahadeva temple: Sri Mahadeva Temple, TambdiSurla is one of the oldest temples in Goa to Lord Shiva. The inner sanctum of temple has a Shiva Linga mounted on a raised pedestal. There is also a statue of headless Nandi. The locals believe that there is a huge king cobra permanently sitting near the Shiva Linga.

Anjuna flea market: Anjuna flea market has become synonymous with vibrant Goa’s pulse. It is hot, happening, and buzzing with energy.The flea market is open only on Wednesdays and offers many things, right from fruits to clothes and accessories to electronic devices. It’s a favourite hangout among hippies and backpackers. While you can find really unique items at this market, give your best shot at bargaining, ‘coz you can avail some great deals!

Fontainhas: Fontainhas is a beautiful Latin Quarter located in Panaji on the banks of the Ourem Creek and named after the natural springs nearby. The quarter is now recognized as a heritage site and is famous for its charming Portuguese style houses on the base of the Altinho hills.

Arpora Saturday night market: This sprawling market is located in Arpora. One can find everything in this market – right from spices to jewellery, unique creations, international designers, vintage items and much more. The Saturday night market has featured in Bollywood films too! It is one of the best liveliest getaways for sightseeing in Goa. This is one of the best places in Goa.

Patnem beach: Situated in Canacona, South Goa, Patnem Beach is one of the most secluded and tranquil beaches of Goa. It is the perfect place to laze by the beach and do absolutely nothing. The waters are quite safe to swim in, and the views of the sunset are magnificent and uninterrupted.

Palolem beach: A scenic stretch of golden sand dotted with lush green palm trees and vibrant beach shacks – that’s Palolem Beach for you. Butterfly beach: This beautiful Butterfly beach situated towards the north of the Palolem beach. It is very suitable for those seeking peace and isolation and is one of the quietest and unexplored beaches in Goa. The Butterfly beach is surrounded by a lot of rocks. One can enjoy the thrilling ride by the paddle boat towards the beach and also see some dolphins on the way.

Morjim beach:Morjim is sometimes referred to as "Little Russia" owing to the large population of Russian immigrants staying here. Morjim beach is home to exotic species of birds and some rare endangered animals such as sea turtles.

Vagator beach:Vagator beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa. It is famous for its soft white sands and imposing but beautiful rocky cliffs. The beach is divided into two major parts, namely Little Vagator, also known as Ozran Beach, and Big Vagator. It is also popular for its sweeping panoramic views, beach shacks and trance parties.
